EXOSET Universal Vertical Safety Lifting Clamps

A vertical clamp for lifting, turning and moving steel plate, sheet and fabricated sections. The jaw takes the plate, the cam grips harder as the load comes on, and a locking device holds the clamp in both the open and the closed position — so it stays where you put it while you are setting it on the plate.

The hoisting eye is hinged, which means the clamp can be lifted from any direction, or run on a multiple leg sling, without side loading it. Plate can be turned a full 180°, horizontal to vertical and back down again.

Safety

Maximum working load limit marked in the hoisting eye and on the grip, where you can see it before you hook on.
Cam segment and pivot are coated, and the coating doubles as a wear indicator — once half of it has worn off, those parts are replaced.
Locking device for both the open and the closed position.

Handling

Enlarged latch, easier to open and close.
Grip shaped to be held while you are fitting the clamp to the plate.
Welded body in high strength Naxtra steel — robust without the bulk.
The hoisting eye shaft has two flat sides, which spreads the friction rather than letting it indent the body.
